Soccer Team Looks to Score Big in the Playoffs

Following a championship victory last season in a near perfect season, the TABC soccer team looks poised to make another deep playoff run. With a 7-0 record thus far in the season, the Storm seems unstoppable as they are not simply beating teams, but rather crushing them. In fact, the closest game of the season came against JEC when the TABC won by a “slim” margin of two goals. In fact, the TABC soccer team leads the league with an astounding plus 42 goal differential.

The success of the Storm has been, in large part, a result of the team’s chemistry. Led by captains Refi Minsky, Ezra Friedman, and Yisroel Tannenbaum, the Storm always seems to click on all cylinders during the game. Whether it's beautiful passing or lockdown defense, the TABC soccer team has found that the strength of their team, is their team.

Despite their early success, however, the TABC soccer team recognizes that they cannot get too confident and that they must take each game seriously.

As Dylan Breen, star defenseman on the soccer team, put it, “We’ve had a lot of success in the past, but we can’t let that make us cocky and we have to put all of our effort out on the court if we want to win these games.”

The last thing that the Storm wants is to have the potential to win it all and underperform because of a lack of effort. As long as the TABC soccer team stays serious and locked in, there is nothing that can stop them from bringing home the championship at the end of the season.
