We Want Weiner Wednesday!

At TABC, students love all things food, all the time. One of the most famous food happenings at TABC was Weiner Wednesday. Sadly, Wiener day is no more.

Weiner Wednesday was created by seniors years ago, to raise money for the senior trip. This year, however, seniors decided to no longer run this event. Back in the day, seniors would grill hot dogs in the lunchroom and would sell them to hungry students at low prices, $3 for one $5 for two. And Weiner Wednesday meant one less day students had to buy lunch in town.

“It was really a thriving industry in our school...and now its not,” said Azriel Muller. "Students at TABC are really disappointed that this year's seniors gave up on the business of selling in TABC."

Seeing a void, Azriel has blown away the TABC dairy lunch market this year, by selling delicious and affordable grilled cheese sandwiches. Next year’s seniors should follow Azriel’s lead, and “reinstate” Weiner Wednesday. No doubt students would flock to the lunchroom in pursuit of the famous weiners.

“It was really convenient to have food in school every Wednesday,” said Sammy Greenberg.

Rising Seniors, pay attention! Everyone is waiting for the day smoke fills the lunch room, with that mouth watering smell of grilled hot dogs. Along with feeding hungry students, Weiner Wednesdays would also help fund the senior trip.
